Ruby C. Hunt YMCA Adult Basketball
The Ruby C. Hunt YMCA is offering multiple fun and enagaging Adult Basketball programs!
This is an opportunity for fun, fitness, and community through the sport of basketball! These programs are meant to be fun ways to get exercise and meet new people! We expect all participants in our programs to adhere to league policies, player codes of conduct, and our mission as the Cleveland County Family YMCA.

3V3 Tournament (3/27/26)
Looking for a competitive, high-energy way to stay active and build community? Our 3v3 Adult Basketball Tournament is the perfect mix of fun, fitness, and friendly competition. This event is designed for adult men who want to hoop, compete, and connect in a positive, well-organized environment.
The tournament will take place on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the RUBY C. HUNT YMCA, with games beginning at 6:30 PM. Courts will open at 5:30 PM for warm-ups and shootaround. Each team is guaranteed at least two games, with additional games available for teams that advance to later rounds.
Registration is open now through March 19, 2026.
Team captains must register for their entire team—one registration covers the full team. Team captains will serve as the primary point of contact and will receive all tournament communications, rules, and required paperwork.
All participants must complete an Adult Sports Waiver and Code of Conduct Form to be eligible to play. These forms will be emailed to the team captain and must be returned to the Director before the tournament begins. Teams that fail to submit required documents by the deadline will not be permitted to participate. No refunds will be issued.

Adult Team Registration
Ruby C. Hunt YMCA is offering an Adult Basketball League!
This is an opportunity for fun, fitness, and community through the sport of basketball! This league is meant to be a fun way to get exercise and meet new people! Teams can sign up together or individuals can sign up as a free agent and be either picked up by a registered team or placed on a free agent team. We expect all players in our league to adhere to league policies, player codes of conduct, and our mission as the Cleveland County Family YMCA.
All games will be in the evening on Tuesdays and Thursday nights starting at 6:00pm. Tentative start date for games is April 14th. Mandatory Coaches meeting at 6:00pm on Tuesday April 7th at the Dover YMCA (411 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150).
Registration runs Feb. 2nd-April 5th. The price is $500 per team.
If you are having trouble finding a team to play on you can register in our Free Agent division and be placed on a free agent team. $50 per person.
PLAYERS IN THE LEAGUE MUST BE 18+ AND CANNOT BE IN HIGH SCHOOL.
License must be shown to verify those on roster before games.
Only one currently active college basketball/professional player is allowed per team.
(All participants must complete waiver forms to participate, these will be given out to the Captain when they register their team.)
