CIT Camp
What is a CIT?
A CIT is a Counselor in Training.
Who can be a CIT?
To be eligible for a CIT you must have completed the 8th grade.
What does a CIT do?
A CIT is support to the camp staff. CITs lead games, assist in Arts & Crafts, STEM, and other camp related task.
CITs can earn volunteer hours for school. If you need hours for other services besides school please contact Danielle before registering your child.
How do I become a CIT?
Once registered for the program potential CITs will go through an interview process with camp staff & leadership.

Spring Break Camp
Spring Break Camp-Think summer camp but during the school year.

What are the hours?
7:00 AM-6:00 PM
Can my child attend even if I don’t need the full week?
Yes, just use our single day registration under Rutherford County Schools SOS Days
What does my child need to bring to camp?
A lunch, 2 snacks, and a water bottle. Please wear play clothes and closed toe shoes
Can my child bring electronics?
No, this includes cell phones and smart watches.
Does my child have to attend Afterschool to attend camps?
No
Summer Camp
Location: We are looking to have 2 sites
Site 1: Mount Vernon Ruth Elementary School
Site 2: TBD
Cost: $100
$35 registration fee waived until February 1st
Waiting List: If you see the words ‘Waiting List’ instead of ‘Register’ click “Waiting List” to add your child to that week’s list. Campers will be added to the roster if we have a cancellation based on the registration date.
Hours: 7:00 AM- 6:00 PM Monday-Friday
*+Swimming: 3 days a week
*+Field Trips: Tuesdays
What to Bring/Wear: 2 snacks, lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, bathing suit & towel, camp shirt (Tuesdays), closed-toe shoes, and play clothes. Please do not send your child to camp in new shoes or clothes. Camp is fun and fun is sometimes messy.
What not to Bring: toys, electronics including cell phones, ipads, laptops, and smartwatches. These items will be collected at camp and locked in a safe place until the child is picked up.
Camp fees are drafted on a weekly basis on the Monday prior to your child’s scheduled camp session. All cancellation requests must be submitted 15 days
prior to the week of cancellation.
