Youth Baseball Spring 2024
Now is the time for your child to learn the fundamentals of baseball! Our baseball program seeks to lay a foundation for parents to spend quality time together with their children while learning how to properly teach and support them in sports, watch them have fun, learn new skills and meet new friends. Sports provide a great opportunity to teach values like caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. YMCA Youth Sports help young people by emphasizing skill development and having fun!
- Registration closes March 3rd and Late Registration Closes March 10th and registration will go up $10.
KING’S MOUNTAIN INFO
- 3-4 Little Slugger T-Ball will be placed on a roster
- 5-6 Coach Pitch Modified T-Ball will be placed on a roster
7-16 ages will have the following skills nights:
- March 5th 7-8 Coach Pitch 6:00pm-7:00pm & 9-10 Player Pitch 7:00pm-8:00pm
- March 7th Player Pitch (O-Zone) 11-12 6:00pm-7:00pm & 13-15 Player Pitch 7:00pm-8:00pm
Players will be placed onto a roster and communication of coach, practice day and time and games schedule will be given by Director.

We are happy to be able to partner with Dixie Youth baseball for another Spring season. The season will be compiled of an 8+ game schedule with other Dixie youth teams in our surrounding area.
Skills night will be March 7th at 7:00pm-8:00pm.

Coach Pitch -modified T-ball (Ages 5-6)
Coach pitch- modified T-ball for young athletes at the YMCA, is a great introduction to youth baseball! We value recreational fun and instructional coaching in all of our sports. The 5-6 year-old division incorporates an introduction to slow coach’s pitch and each player receives 5 pitches. YMCA coaches are also on the baseball field to assist the kiddos with hitting, fielding, and base running. Youth sports at the YMCA are also dedicated to teaching values of sportsmanship, teamwork, perseverance and of course, FUN!
