Let’s kick it! Little Kicks soccer has arrived in Rutherford County! Learn, play, and have fun in our 6-week instructional soccer program! We are offering Little Kicks soccer for male and female athletes ages three to five.

We will have a parent meeting on March  TBD, 2025 at Element Church (Forest City) in the TBD at 6:30 PM.

Our goals:

Character Development:

Through intentional devotion, prayer time, and the lessons taught through the game we hope to develop good character in each child and teen in our program. We promote and strive to instill sportsmanship, respect, discipline, kindness, and joyfulness in each of our participants. We select coaches who have these characteristics and want to develop them in their players. Our mission is not to develop good athletes, but to develop good people.

Community Building:

This program aims to create an environment where participants can build a community through their teammates and opponents. We also strive to create a space where parents and coaches can build community with each other and across our county. We want this to feel like more than just a flag football season. We want this to be an experience where new friends can be met and communities formed!

Sport Competence:

We want kids to learn about the sports they enjoy and feel confident enough to play them. We want our participants to leave with a fundamental knowledge of the sport and how to play it. As participants continue in the program, we strive to challenge them more to expand this knowledge and build on their foundation. This feeds into our real mission in this area, for kids to love sports/physical activity. Being physically active is an extremely important aspect of one’s health and because of this, we aim to promote physical activity for life through our sports programs.

Registration:

• On-time registration will go from January 21st to April  10th, 2025.

Registration Fee: $40.00

Financial Assistance available upon request.

Sessions:

• Sessions will start the week of April 14^th, 2025.
• Sessions will be on a Monday, Thursday, or Saturday.
  • Mondays & Thursdays will be from 5:15 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Saturdays will be from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM
    • The day your session occurs will depend on which Little Kicks section you sign up for below.
  • An initial text message about session one will be sent out sometime before or during the week of April 14th.
• There are no games in Little Kicks.
