Ruby C. Hunt YMCA - Library & Community

More Than Just A Library: 
The Library at the Ruby C. Hunt is open to the community.  You do not have to be a Y member to use the library. Anyone can request a library card at the circulation desk.   The library card is issued without charge upon verification of the borrower's contact information.

Library Hours: Monday - Thursday 10:00am - 6:00pm. 

What the Library Offers: Adult & children's books, magazines, public use computers, wireless access, meeting facilities, Storywalk on our Fit trail.

Programs Throughout the Year:
Read, Write, Share - call the Library for dates and times at 704-669-3648.

Preschool Storytime meets every Tuesday at 10:00am.

Community Potluck 1st Thursday of each month (except July and August) at noon. Bring your favorite dish to share.

2018 Summer Reading Program  "Libraries Rock!: will kick off on Thursday,  June 14th at 10:30 am in the gym. 

The summer reading program is 6 weeks of an energy packed, hands-on, learning adventure! It is open to preschool and school- age children.  Families are invited to participate in story time, crafts, special programs and Storywalk events. Registration is required.  Program dates: June 14 - July 19, 2018

Other great opportunities are Afterschool Access, School-Group Visits, Community Workshops, and Special Guests.

Lego at the Library designed for grades 2nd - 6th meets the 2nd Thursday of each month (September - May) 
Registration required.  4:00pm - 5:00pm. 2017-2018 Program is underway.
