After School Program
Children deserve more than just babysitting from their school year program, they deserve excitement and adventure while building a healthy spirit, mind and body. That is exactly what the YMCA provides. The YMCA After School Extreme Program allows children to spend their afternoons in a safe environment. Children have fun in guided recreation, develop lasting friendships, and develop age-appropriate skills. The program focuses on the fitness of each child in spirit, mind and body. Each activity is planned specifically to help strengthen each child in one of these three areas. Our staff model and reinforce the values of caring, responsibility, honesty, respect and faith in God as they guide children through the daily activities.
