The Sweethearts of Bluegrass, Darin and Brooke Aldridge, are from Cherryville N.C.  In 2011, the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) voted them an Emerging Artist of the year nomination and the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music (SPBGMA) voted them as gospel group, album, song and Female vocalist of the year nominees. Their self-titled album released in 2010 propelled Darin and Brooke Aldridge into the top five on Bluegrass, Americana Roots, and Gospel music charts.  Last summer, and again in January of this year, they were the most played bluegrass artists on Sirius/XM radio. They began 2012 with a song ranked #2 on the chart.

The new CD “So Much In Between”, released in August 2011 on the Mountain Home label. During January and February 2012, the band taped episodes for four TV network shows including the RFD channel called The Bluegrass Road and Great American Gospel and finished their first music DVD. The band has also just finished a music video for the americana/country single Wildflower.  For more information visit www.darinandbrookealdridge.com
