Why Girls Club?
The Girls Club YMCA fosters an environment where each girl is treated as a person of worth and value. Continuous opportunities are provided to encourage each girl to develop control over her life and to assume responsibility for her choices.
We believe that all children deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. The Y will strive to ensure that the youth today are cultivating the values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievement.
Girls are far more likely to achieve their potential in a single-sex environment. It is our desire that they come in as girls and leave as young ladies with a mission in life.

TEEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Are you between 13 – 19 years old? Do you want community service hours? Do you want to pump up your resume?
If so, join your Teen Advisory Committee! The YMCA’s teen advisory committee seeks to involve the youth of the communities we serve in determining what sorts of programs and services they would want in their YMCA. Whether you want dance, work out, or poetry classes…get your voice heard and be a part of this group.
Earn community service hours, make a difference in your community, gain relevant work experience and practical skills, and connect with peers… AND HAVE FUN! Join today!

WHERE THE GIRL COMES FIRST
Are you looking for a place to hang out with other school girls…a place to participate in fun activities, have some snacks and get that homework knocked out before you get home? Then check out the Girls Club! We rock out when schools clock out! Girls will be expected to do homework or read independently during a designated homework time, be able to participate in group activities based on different daily themes, enjoy a daily snack, and for that much needed downtime, just take it easy hanging out with friends!

School is here! Want your girls to have fun after school, while also completing their homework, enjoying a healthy snack, playingactive games and making new friends? Then YMCA After School Extreme is where they need to be!
