BODYPUMP Technique Classes at the Dover Foundation YMCA
Come learn the proper form of our new BODYPUMP class! Technique classes will be offered the week of February 27 – March 2. These classes will help you prepare for a great workout!
Class times will be:
Monday 2/27 5:30 – 6:30 am and 6:30 – 7:30 pm
Wednesday 2/29 5:30 – 6:30 am and 9:00 – 9:45 am
Thursday 3/1 6:30 -7:30 pm
Friday 3/2 5:30 – 6:30 am and 9:00 -10:00 am and 5:30 -6:30 pm
Please make sure you are at least 5 minutes early for each class. This will help you and the instructor.

Join us at the Dover Foundation YMCA on Saturday, March 3rd to help us launch our new exciting program-Les Mills BodyPUMP! There will be two class times offered, 9:00-10:00 am and 10:30-11:30 am. This launch party is free for all Cleveland County Family YMCA members but you may only pre-register for one session and must bring your receipt as your admission ticket. Remember, you must pre-register, there will be no walk-ins the day of the launch! Don’t miss this chance to preview this new upcoming program!

Shrink Down
Shrinkdown is a FREE to members eight-week healthy living awareness program that targets one of the top health issues in our nation and local communities- youth and adult obesity. The program provides helpful suggestions on ways to begin healthy eating (affordably) and how to increase daily physical activity. The program is about lifestyle change for the entire family.

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a free program designed for cancer survivors 18 years and older who have become deconditioned or chronically fatigued from their treatment or disease. The goals of the program include:
- Rebuilding muscular strength and endurance
- Increasing flexibility and improving functional ability
- Reducing severity of therapy side effects
- Preventing unwanted weight changes
- Improving self esteem and energy levels
Participants may be eligible for FREE 12‐week Family Membership and may use YMCA facilities at any time. Participants may bring a support person who can participate in a workout of their own.
AGE: 18 and older
COST: Thanks to the generosity of our donors, this program is free to participants; open to members of the YMCA and non-members.
REQUIREMENTS: Participants must receive medical clearance and are evaluated on an individual basis. Patients currently undergoing treatment may participate, but only if they receive proper medical clearance. Health history forms and intake interview must be completed prior to first group meeting.

Group Exercise
Age: 15 years old and up. Children ages 10-14 may attend with a parent.
We offer over 50 Group Fitness classes each week and some are appropriate for YOU! Classes include Cycling, Yoga, Kickboxing, Zumba, Water Aerobics and more! We have experienced instructors, all nationally certified by ACE, AFAA, SilverSneakers®or theYMCA. Come try a class!
Schedule: Our monthly schedule is available online or at the Welcome Center.

Personal Training
Ages: 10 years and up
Do you need some extra motivation or advice to improve your fitness level? Schedule a session with a YMCA Personal Trainer. All of our trainers have a nationally recognized personal training certification (ACE, AFAA or YMCA) and years of fitness experience.
Schedule: By appointment with trainer.
Cost:
Level I Trainers: $40 an hour
Level II Trainers: $45 an hour, $30 per ½ hour
Personal Training Packages available in increments of 8 sessions, 12 sessions and 24 sessions. Non-member pricing available. More information available at the Welcome Center.
Fitness Assessment
Age: 15 years and up
An appointment that can include checking and/or monitoring one or more of the following: weight, blood pressure, heart rate, circumference measurements, body fat analysis, BMI, Hip to Waist Ratio, three minute step test for VO2Max, flexibility, an abdominal crunch test and a series of strength tests.

FitLinxx
Age: 10 years and up
FitLinxx is a computerized monitoring and tracking system. It is like having a computerized personal coach. The system uses the latest computer technology to ensure that you are exercising properly and efficiently. A member of the staff monitors your program and provides regular feedback and motivation to help you see better results more quickly than ever before. Earn points for completing your workout and to receive prizes.

Youth Wellness Orientation
Ages: 10-14 years old
All youth ages 10-14 must have this to be in our Wellness Area, whether downstairs weight room or upstairs room and track. This is the same as a regular orientation, just modified for youth. The member will be taught proper use of equipment, proper training techniques and can be set up on a workout plan. *Members must be 10 years old to use the Wellness Area (See Youth Rules provided in the facility)

Equipment Orientation
Ages: 10 years old an up
This appointment is for a member that’s new to our facility, new to working out altogether, or needs a review. During which you can learn proper use of the equipment and proper training technique.
