featuring Dan Cathy,
President and Chief Operating Officer of Chick-fil-A.
Wednesday, May 28
at the Dover Foundation YMCA
Since 2001, Dan has served as the president and chief operating officer of Chick-fil-A, Inc.,
and he has personally challenged himself
with upholding Chick-fil-A’s efforts to provide genuine, heartfelt hospitality,
and ensuring that customers have an exceptional dining experience when visiting a
Chick-fil-A Restaurant. In his quest to provide customers with “2nd Mile Service" (exceeding even the highest expectations of a typical fast-food restaurant), Dan has defined a special role for himself – humbly saying, “I work in customer service.”
The serving line will open at 6:30 am with the program beginning at 7:15 am. The breakfast will be catered by the local Chick-fil-A restaurant. Tickets are on sale now for $12 per person or $80 per table of eight. Seating is limited. Tickets may be purchased at the Kings Mountain Family YMCA, Dover Foundation YMCA, Boiling Springs YMCA or Chick-fil-A of Shelby. For more information call the YMCA at 704-484-9622.

Due to the generosity of individuals and businesses, we are able to offer reduced rates for memberships, aquatics, and youth sports programs. Annual fund raising through the 'We Build People' campaign can help children, families, and adults facing financial difficulty to gain better health, improve confidence, increase energy, and have the opportunity to experience first hand the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of the Cleveland County Family Y's!!

For those not familiar with our facility, we gladly provide tours. Some of the programs available at the Kings Mountain Family YMCA are Youth Sports , AfterSchool Child Care , Water Aerobics, Pilates, and MUCH more. Pick-up basketball is available year round, and we also offer personal trainers, a full range of free-weight equipment, Wellness Coaches, various new cardio-health fitness classes, modern exercise equipment, and much much more!
