Family A family membership is a husband and wife – legally married and living in one household and their dependents residing at the same family address – children under 22 of the husband or wife, persons listed on the federal income tax return of the head of household, foreign exchange students or foster children.  (Exceptions will be made for dependents 22 or older who are full-time students.

Single Parent Family A single parent family membership is an unmarried parent and their dependents on the federal income tax return.

Adult An adult membership is for men and women ages 20 – 59 years.

Senior

Student A student membership is for any adult taking 12 or more credit hours in any post-high school program. A current class must be presented. A temporary college membership is available for the summer months and during college breaks.

Teen

Teen Memberships are for boys and girls 13 - 19 years old. A parent or legal guardian must sign all youth membership applications.

Program Membership Any individual or family that participate in YMCA programs or contribute to our “We Build People” Annual giving campaign but are not active members with monthly or annual dues.

Payment Options

When you join online, you can pay by Visa or MasterCard. You may also choose to pay either by monthly draft of your credit card or pay for a full year up front. If you join as an annual pay member, you will pay 12 months plus a partial thirteenth month (depending on the day of the month you join). When you choose either option, be assured that your transaction will be handled securely and confidentially. Once you have joined, you may also choose to have your monthly credit card draft changed to an EFT bank draft from a checking or savings account by visiting your home branch.


Termination Process

NO CONTRACTS, NO INTEREST. Membership will continue until you complete the 30-day written termination notice available at the Membership Courtesy Counter at your home branch.

Financial Assistance Information

The YMCA offers financial assistance for those in need. Financial assistance changes to your monthly draft can be made after you join by visiting your YMCA home branch.

Corporate Membership Information

The YMCA offers corporate membership plans to a wide variety of area business employees. After you have joined online visit your home branch to find out if your company has a corporate membership with the Cleveland County Family YMCA and have the appropriate adjustments made to your monthly draft.
