Group Exercise

Whether you are a health seeker or an advance exerciser, the group exercise program has something for everyone!  If you desire to tighten and tone or uncover that hidden six pack we offer a variety of sculpting classes.  Perhaps you are looking for a way to dance your way to fit.  Come move to the rhythm of the Mambo or make things sizzle with Salsa in Zumba.  "Kick-it" up a few notches with a high energy kickboxing class or pedal your way through a fitness journey in cycle.  Relax and listen to the soothing sounds as you increase flexibility and strength in Yoga or Pilates.  All classes are appropriate for beginners unless otherwise noted on the group exercise schedule.

Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less

Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less is a weight management program that uses strategies proven to work!  Each lesson informs, empowers and motivates participants to live mindfully as they make choices about eating and physical activity.  The program provides opportunities for participants to track their progress and keep a journal of healthy eating and physical activity behaviors.

Each classe includes:

  • In-depth information about why the behavior is important for weight loss and weight maintenance.
  • Strategies for adopting the behavior.
  • 3-5 minute physical activity break.
  • Ways concepts can be adopted by the whole family.
  • Opportunity for sharing and celebrating.
  • Suggestions for living mindfully.
  • Guided discussion of strategy for the week.
  • Time for each participant to assess body weight in privacy.

Each Tuesday from 12noon-1pm, Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less will be offered by Carol Johnson, Registered Dietician.  The cost for this 15 week program is $65, which includes the Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less Magazine and Journal. Classes begin Tuesday, January 26th.  Pre-Register by Monday, January 25th at noon.
